Since Lilian had already gotten me a KL mug, I went to the Starbucks inside KLCC Suria Mall just to see if they had other mugs. By golly, they did! They had Sabah and Malaysia mugs!
After checking my e-mail at an internet shop, I also checked out my favorite Starbucks City Mugs page to see if I was missing any other mugs from Malaysia. Mike wrote that there was another KL mug on the loose. After checking every single Starbucks that I passed by in Bukit Bintang (and there were quite a few of them!), I didn’t find a KL mug that was different from the one that I already had. Confused, I passed it off as mistaken identity on Mike’s part.
I would later find out that the KL #2 mug did exist. It is the one with the Petronas Towers. Eek! I need to go back to Malaysia! Or find a very nice Malaysian friend. HeHe!

Who knew I would end up with five Starbucks City Mugs in Indonesia?! I found the other four mugs just 45 minutes before leaving Jakarta. I was way too happy when I saw them because days before, I kept asking myself when I would ever get myself to Bandung, Medan, Bali, and Surabaya to grab those mugs in their hometowns. Except for Bali, I didn’t even know where the rest were on an Indonesia map!
The barista who rang me up had to double-check if I were indeed getting all four mugs; I guess she has never encountered a crazed collector before. She ended up giving me my grande white chocolate mocha for free as a thank you gift for buying so many mugs…and probably helping her to make the sales target for the day. Schhhweeeet!

As predicted, the very first thing I did in my S.E. Asia trip was to go inside a Starbucks store to look for mugs. I found my Jakarta City Mug inside the only 24 hours Starbucks in Jakarta. Surprisingly, the mug was so small! I kept asking the barista if this was the only size they had. I would later find out that all the Indonesia City Mugs came in that size.
